Where we collect across Dubai

We cover the whole city. Which part of Dubai you are in changes how a collection is planned rather than whether we do it, and below is what that actually means area by area.

How we cover the city

Dubai is one service area, not thirty

We collect from every part of Dubai. There is no list of districts we avoid and no postcode that disqualifies a job. What changes from one area to another is the logistics, and that is genuinely worth knowing about before you book anything, because the practical differences between a tower in Business Bay and a villa in Arabian Ranches are substantial.

A high-rise apartment means a service lift that has to be reserved, a management office that wants a move-out permit, and loading hours that may not include the time you wanted. A villa means stairs, more rooms, and usually a garden and storage areas that get forgotten until the day. A warehouse in Al Quoz means a loading dock and room for a larger vehicle, which is why bigger lots out there can often be done in a single visit.

The sections below set out what we usually find in each part of the city. If your area is not named, it is still covered. Dubai is a small enough city that nowhere in it is out of our way.

Area by area

What a collection looks like near you

01

Downtown, Business Bay and the central corridor

High-rise apartment towers and commercial floors, most with service lifts, loading bays and a management office that wants a move-out permit before anything leaves. We book the lift and clear the paperwork in advance, which is usually the difference between a collection that happens on the day and one that gets turned around at reception. Expect furnished apartment contents, office floors and serviced apartment refits here.

Including

  • Downtown Dubai
  • Business Bay
  • DIFC
  • Za'abeel
  • Sheikh Zayed Road
  • World Trade Centre
  • Trade Centre District
02

The waterfront and the Palm

Dubai Marina, JBR, JLT and Palm Jumeirah produce a steady flow of furnished apartment and villa contents, largely because people move in and out of these communities constantly. Access tends to be good but parking and loading windows are tight, so we schedule these for quieter hours where the building allows it.

Including

  • Dubai Marina
  • Jumeirah Beach Residence
  • Jumeirah Lakes Towers
  • Palm Jumeirah
  • Dubai Harbour
  • Bluewaters Island
  • Emaar Beachfront
03

Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and the villa communities

Villas mean more furniture, more rooms and usually stairs rather than a lift, so we size the team to match. These collections are frequently full house contents from families leaving the UAE, and they tend to include garden furniture, outdoor equipment and storage room contents alongside the main rooms.

Including

  • Jumeirah
  • Umm Suqeim
  • Al Safa
  • Al Wasl
  • Arabian Ranches
  • Dubai Hills Estate
  • The Springs and The Meadows
  • Emirates Hills
04

Deira, Bur Dubai and the older districts

Long-established residential and commercial buildings, a lot of shop fit-outs and some of the busiest streets in the city for loading. Access is often the main variable here rather than the items. Retail closures, restaurant equipment and apartment contents are all common.

Including

  • Deira
  • Bur Dubai
  • Al Garhoud
  • Al Rigga
  • Al Karama
  • Oud Metha
  • Al Nahda
  • Dubai Festival City
05

Al Quoz, Jebel Ali and the industrial areas

This is where the warehouse and commercial work sits. Racking, pallet stock, workshop equipment, showroom fittings and surplus inventory, usually with proper loading access and room to work. Larger vehicles are straightforward here, which means bigger lots can go in fewer visits.

Including

  • Al Quoz
  • Jebel Ali
  • Dubai Investments Park
  • Dubai Industrial City
  • Al Qusais Industrial
  • Ras Al Khor
  • Dubai South
  • Jafza
06

The newer communities and suburbs

Fast-growing residential areas with a high turnover of tenants, which makes them a regular source of apartment contents and landlord handover clearances. Community rules on move-out timing vary, so we confirm those with the management before booking the day.

Including

  • Jumeirah Village Circle
  • Dubai Silicon Oasis
  • International City
  • Mirdif
  • Discovery Gardens
  • Dubai Sports City
  • Dubai Production City
  • Al Barsha
  • Town Square
  • Damac Hills

Beyond Dubai

The wider UAE, for larger lots

Dubai is our base and the majority of what we buy is here. Where the quantity justifies the journey we also travel to the other emirates. Tell us the location and the rough volume when you message, and we will give you a straight answer on whether it works.

Questions

Location and access

Do you charge more for areas further out?

Distance is one of the things that goes into the figure, along with the items, the quantity and the access. We do not add a separate travel charge on top, but a small lot a long way out is worth less to us than the same lot nearby, and that shows in the price we offer. We will be clear about it rather than adjusting on the day.

My building needs a move-out permit. Can you handle that?

We can guide you through it, but most Dubai buildings will only issue the permit or NOC to the tenant or owner, not to a third party. Tell us as early as you can which building it is and we will tell you what is normally required so the paperwork is ready before the collection date.

Do you collect from outside Dubai?

For larger lots, yes. Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and the northern emirates are all possible when the quantity justifies the trip. A single item in Ras Al Khaimah is not something we can make work, and we would rather tell you that immediately than leave you waiting.

Can you collect from a labour camp or staff accommodation?

Yes. Staff accommodation blocks, labour camps and company housing are regular work, particularly when a company is changing site or upgrading its furniture. These are usually high volume and straightforward, and we are comfortable with the access requirements that come with them.

Which area do you collect from most?

There is no single answer. Apartment contents come mostly from the waterfront and the central towers, villa contents from Jumeirah and the gated communities, and commercial work from Al Quoz, Jebel Ali and the office towers. All of it is normal and none of it is out of the way for us.

Ready when you are

Tell us where the items are

The area, the building and the floor are enough for us to tell you how a collection would work and when we could do it.
